It was late, and Sam couldn't sleep. He lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling. What if there were monsters under my bed? He wondered. I bet I could tame them! I'll put on my Spiderman mask and I'll bind them with my spiderwebs! No monster can harm me!
As he turned to lie on his side, Sam heard a rustling noise. Hah! I bet it's a monster, here to challenge me! Sam thought, as he crept off his bed.
Suddenly, a pair of purple, slimy hands grabbed him around the waist and threw him into a wall. Slightly dazed, Sam took a look at the monster. It was massive, purple all over, with big, gray horns and big, spiky teeth, dripping with slime. It was wearing a big, thick belt around his waist. There was a leather whip, a massive club, and a dagger made out of what looked like to be bone lodged in it.
"Ha. Ha ha. You, you can't defeat me, you filthy monster!" Sam puffed. The monster did not respond to this, but instead pulled out his club and advanced menacingly onto Sam.
"You you you stay back! I, I'm Spiderman! Y-You can't defeat me!" Sam shouted, but with a tremble in his voice. The monster only stared, and raised his club above his head. This is it, thought Sam. I'm going to die!
The monster brought the club down.
Sam's world went black. His chest hurt.
But he was alive!
Sam opened his eyes.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" There was another monster right infront of him!
"Reeow!" something screeched, and Sam watched in terrified, yet relieved silence as his cat bolted away.

Portal To Sambith Part 1
As I stepped through, the world around me changed. Houses turned into cottages, cars turned into carriages, street lamps turned into trees, and the concrete beneath me turned into soft, lime green grass. I have finally arrived in Sambith.
My grandmother was initially the one who had discovered this place. She had been a mischievous little girl, and boy, did she like to crawl. Even as a 5 year old, she loved crawling everywhere. That was how she had discovered the first portal.
It was well hidden, just between a tree and a fire hydrant. Is was a very small portal, just enough for a child, like her.
You cannot see a portal, but special children can see the miniscule difference in the air around it. My grandmother was one of the chosen in her era. The chosen were the only ones who could pass through portals.
My mother was not chosen so my grandmother decided not to tell her about Sambith. But when I had been chosen, my grandmother had already passed away. I grew up not knowing about Sambith and it's wonders.
Now, it is almost my 18th birthday. I have finally found out about Sambith. I am 5 minutes away from adulthood. I will use my time wisely and explore the wonders of Sambith.
